Thrift Shop in the News!

Well done, Thrift Shop!

St. Barnabas Thrift Shop in Arroyo Grande recently donated $785 to Captive Hearts. With its office in Grover Beach, Captive Hearts ministers to women in jail and to women who have returned to life outside jail. 2012 Christmas Pageant

On December 16, 21 children and youth from St. Barnabas Church performed a Christmas Pageant, adapted from “Just a Little Christmas”. They did a great job!! Special thanks to all the adults and youth that helped behind the scenes as well! Also, much appreciation to all the parents, friends and family that stayed late to practice, came early and joined the pageant audience!

Get On The Bus

St Barnabas is involved in the goal of volunteering folks and raising $2000 to support the cost for one of 8 buses of approximately 15 families that will come from distant homes in California to visit their father in California Men’s Colony, San Luis Obispo. The one day event will be in May. The main purpose is to support children in their struggles to cope with the absence of their dads. It is extremely meaningful for all involved. We had…
