St Barnabas is involved in the goal of volunteering folks and raising $2000 to support the cost for one of 8 buses of approximately 15 families that will come from distant homes in California to visit their father in California Men’s Colony, San Luis Obispo. The one day event will be in May. The main purpose is to support children in their struggles to cope with the absence of their dads. It is extremely meaningful for all involved. We had an informal appeal last Sunday and already raised $350. Thank you very much for your generosity. Pamphlets and donation envelopes will be in hall and church entrance (narthex). A yellow Get On The Bus donation box will be available to either place designated gift envelopes, to place in collection plate, to mail donations or give donations to Phil West.
