New Cross – part 1

St. Barnabas supports the Food Bank!

Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County is a volunteer organization that works with corporate and non-profit sponsors to see that no one in the county goes hungry. St. Barnabas is proud to support this organization.

St. Barnabas Thrift Shop

Did you know that there is an easy way to raise money for St. Barnabas ministries as well as a variety of local community causes? Consider volunteering at the St. Barnabas Thrift Shop which is a vital fundraising ministry of the church and a great service to the community. Come join the Thrift Shop Volunteer Family and make a difference with us.

Homeless Bags

Come and join in assembling hygiene bags for our homeless neighbors.  Mark your calendars for Monday, November 11th from 1-3 p.m. in room 5.  Donations of all unused toiletry items are welcome and can be left in the donation box in the Parish Hall.  We have special need for tooth brushes, Kleenex and nail clippers.

Beautiful Music!

Thank you to Jennifer and Hiliary for the beautiful harp music on October 20, 2013. Also, thank you to the choir and Pamela’s solo in “Be thou my vision” and for the kid’s choir singing “Seek ye first the kingdom of God”. Everyone did such a wonderful job.

Blessing of the Animals

We had a great time on Sunday with the “Blessing of the Animals”. There were many dogs, cats and stuffed friends in church for their annual blessing. What fun!

Thrift Shop in the News!
